Mike and Ghilaine met each other in 2014 when Ghilaine got involved as COO in a startup that Mike was building as the CTO. It started a converation that is still ongoing around how best to work to get the important work done, reduce the unimportant stuff, make realistic actionable plans and to create a work/life mix that makes it all enjoyable and worthwhile.
We would catch up regularly over a long coffee or meal and share the battle-tested principles and techniques that we’ve picked up along the way that help beat overwhelm, boost real progress and reduces the stress of directing yourself. He was building a personal product to support his approach to working this way, we call it Helm. Over the years it was honed and carved by the conversations we were having around how best to enjoy the process of managing it all, without the overwhelming struggle and not having to have Ghilaine's ultra-organised approach.
In July 2018 we decided that Helm is worth sharing and started working on that......
Around that time, Remeny and Ghilaine met through The Happy Start-up community where we were all members and we united over how important it is to create a career and a life we love, where making friends and building good relationships is at the heart of everything we do. It made sense for her to meet Mike......

What our clients say
Remeny has been working with us since April 2018, and in a short amount of time has transformed our sales and marketing. During the first financial year alone our revenue grew by over 40%.
But perhaps the biggest impact has been with the client care calls, where Remeny arranges a friendly call with our clients. She is able to talk with them independently from their account management teams, and really find out how happy we are making them, or how we can improve.
